This notice provides information about the privacy policies and practices of Equias Alliance, LLC (“Equias Alliance”).

Equias Alliance does not disclose personal information to non-affiliated third parties except as necessary to perform the services our customers request or as required below. Equias Alliance restricts access to non-personal information to those Equias Alliance employees and affiliates who need to know such information in order to provide the high level of service Equias Alliance’s clients expect.

Privacy is very important to us. We do not sell our customers’ information. We maintain policies and procedures designed to ensure the responsible handling of all nonpublic personal information. The examples below of information we collect and the parties with whom we share that information are intended to illustrative of our practices; they are not exhaustive. You do not need to take any action as a result of this notice, but you do have certain rights
as described below.


Information Equias Alliance Collects About Consumers and Customers

Equias Alliance collects nonpublic personal information about consumers and customers from the following sources:

  • Individuals and the individuals’ employers regarding the individuals’ compensation, benefits, insurance applications, benefit plan forms and related documents;
  • Affiliates of Equias Alliance; and
  • Histories of transactions executed with the assistance of Equias Alliance, our affiliates
    and others.

Information that Equias Alliance May Disclose

As permitted by law, we may disclose some or all of the information described above to our affiliates and to companies or individuals that perform services necessary for transactions that an individual or the individual’s employer has requested, such as insurance carriers and agents, securities broker/dealers and trustees. We may also disclose some or all of the information described above to nonaffiliated third parties, including:

  • Companies or individuals that perform services for us or on our behalf, such as independent contractors or technical consultants who program our software;
  • Companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements; and
  • Other nonaffiliated third parties, as permitted by law.

Equias Alliance’s consultants are independent professionals who have chosen to affiliate with Equias Alliance. In the event a consultant leaves Equias Alliance, he is permitted to retain copies of certain nonpublic personal information. If the consultant affiliates with a new firm, the consultant’s subsequent use of the information will be subject to the new firm’s privacy policy. If you are the owner of financial products serviced by Equias Alliance or the sponsor of a benefit plan serviced by Equias Alliance, and you do not want your consultant to retain this information after he leaves Equias Alliance or to transfer this information to his new firm, please contact Linda Radley at (901) 754-0144 to opt out of this information sharing. Your optout will become effective within 30 days after the date of your call or email.

Our Security and Confidentiality Practices for Consumer and Customer Information Equias Alliance restricts access to nonpublic personal information about our current and former customers and consumers to those authorized individuals who need to know the information in order to provide our customers with products or services. Employees are prohibited, both during and after their employment, from disclosing nonpublic personal information to any person or entity outside of Equias Alliance except under the circumstances described above. We also require independent contractors and outside companies who provide services on our behalf to enter into agreements that protect the confidentiality of any consumer and customer information we provide and restrict the use of such information. Finally, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard consumers' and customers' nonpublic personal information.
