TBA Services Company Endorses Equias Alliance's BOLI and Executive Benefits
Texas Banking Association | May, 2011
The Texas Bankers Association and its subsidiary, TBA Services Company, announce the endorsement of Equias Alliance, LLC's BOLI and executive benefit services. Equias Alliance, a team of some of the most experienced former independent consultants and technical support members of Clark Consulting, will continue to serve the non-qualified benefit plan and BOLI needs of their Clark Consulting clients, as well as provide services to new client banks in Texas and across the nation.
Ken Derks, Trey Deupree, Rob Scinta, and Rob Barton, all based in Texas, are part of this national consulting group that will focus on the needs of bankers nationwide. Serving more than 700 bank clients, this seasoned Equias Alliance team of 30 combines 325 years of experience and includes eight CPAs, two attorneys, seven MBAs, three CLUs plus many other designations and licenses.
"Our objective is to continue to assist banks in the design, implementation and administration of non-qualified deferred compensation programs as well as the purchase and administration of Bank-Owned Life Insurance(BOLI)" said Derks, principal of Equias Alliance. "We are excited to be able to offer superior technology and administration to our clients and retain strong technical support and experienced staff."
Ongoing Benefit/BOLI servicing will continue to be provided using Andesa's system, a $20 million project that was designed over the past three years by Clark Consulting and Andesa Services Inc. to specifically replace the current system. Clark Consulting clients were scheduled to be converted to this new system during the second quarter of 2011 and the Equias Alliance team will continue to execute this strategy, along with its partner Andesa Services Inc., to allow their clients to maintain consistent reporting with enhanced systems.
Derks, Deupree, Scinta and Barton will assist Clark Consulting to transition Texas bank clients to the Equias Alliance system during 2011. New clients will be served by the Equias Alliance team, which will provide the same level of service previously received at Clark Consulting.
Wanda Stevens, vice president of the Texas Bankers Association, said, "We value our 24 year partnership with Ken Derks and Clark Consulting and are pleased to continue our relationship with Ken and the Equias Alliance group. We view this as a seamless transition for our member banks, while allowing TBA to maintain its high standard of commitment and delivery of outstanding providers through our endorsement program."
